As part of UHC implementation, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) is planning to convene the East Africa Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Conference & Expo (EAPHEX) from 1st to 3rd April, 2020 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Nairobi. The theme of the conference and exhibition is “Future of Pharmaceutical Industry in East Africa: Regulatory Reforms and Promotion of Sustainable Local Production."

Why attend EAPHEX

Taking place over three days, EAPHEX offers attendees the chance to establish and develop working relationships with relevant industry partners. Attendees are expected from the public as well as the private sectors, aiding the development of pharmaceutical business partnerships.

About the Pharmacy & Poisons Board

The Pharmacy and Poisons Board is the Drug Regulatory Authority established under the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Chapter 244 of the Laws of Kenya.

The Board regulates the Practice of Pharmacy and the Manufacture and Trade in drugs and poisons.

The Board aims to implement the appropriate regulatory measures to achieve the highest standards of safety, efficacy and quality for all drugs, chemical substances and medical devices, locally manufactured, imported, exported, distributed, sold, or used, to ensure the protection of the consumer as envisaged by the laws regulating drugs in force in Kenya.
